Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using the APIGate service.
Last updated: January 7, 2026
Fair Usage
Our free tier includes 50,000 API calls per month. Usage beyond this or abusive patterns may result in throttling or service suspension to ensure quality for all users.
Security Disclaimer
While APIGate provides advanced behavioral protection, no security tool is 100% infallible. The service is provided "as is" without absolute guarantees against all forms of cyber attacks.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the APIGate service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Accounts & Security
When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for:
- Safeguarding the password and API keys that you use to access the Service.
- Any activities or actions under your password or account.
- Notifying us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
3. API Usage & Service Limits
APIGate grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
- Free Tier Limits: The free tier is strictly limited to 50,000 API calls per month. We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend access if you exceed this limit without upgrading.
- Fair Use: You agree not to abuse the API limits. Attempting to circumvent rate limits (e.g., by creating multiple accounts) is grounds for immediate termination.
- Prohibited Use: You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose, to transmit malware, or to attack other networks.
4. Payments & Refunds
Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Generally, fees paid are non-refundable unless the Service was unavailable for a significant period due to our fault.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by You), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of APIGate and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both India and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of APIGate.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless APIGate and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall APIGate, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide reasonable prior notice of such changes. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
